Intention sightseeing

Plane booked for Friday with back up day on Thursday, depending on the weather. Intention is to take Ms. I for a flight originating from Uppsala. As my brain is empty, I turn to you readers for advice about where I can go. Intented duration is approx. 45min-1 hour.

Stuck in a moment

After spending a few hours in the fresh January air, one song I can think of that would describe the experience is:

The airline industry is MINE!!

(a.k.a the family business) 

More details will follow. Course starts on February 18th 2007 but I am finally in the industry where I’ve always wanted to be!

On the topic of language barriers

Not much going on in the life of PC at the moment that I would like to write about ( just yet anyway).  So here is a small video to keep you entertained until further.

Standing at a crossroad

Today, when covering at “Baywatch”  I realized that there are two posible options for coming years. One is to work one more year and then apply for an MA/MSc. the other is to apply for one and start already in the autumn of 2008 (pending I am accepted).  It also made one of my favorite poems come to mind.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

The night owl

 

01:20 right now, Saturday has become Sunday and I seem to have become somewhat of a night owl lately. There is major advantage and one disadvantage to this;

Advantage: I get a chance to concentrate on what I need to be doing most at the moment i.e. hunting for a job (isn’t hunting what owls do?)

Disadvantage: I loose out on the little daylight we have at this time of the year.

2008, a year of opportunities

Most often, people look in the rear mirror before they look forward. Most of you who know me well know I like to do things differently so I will start by looking forward in to 2008 instead.

 The absolute number 1 priority, no doubt, is to find a new job. 2007 didn’t end to well in that respect so I am on a offensive hunt for something to keep myself occupied.  Once this is done deal there are a number of things I hope to be able to do and they are:

 * Get out of my parents place and find a habitat of my own

* Travel!  I hope to do BKK and/or NYC + more

* Generate some more flying hours in my logbook. This includes Vassunda-Bodø with Anders and of course a trip or 10 to Mariehamn

* A very personal mission

* Take an introductory course in law

* Other things that are written in the stars

Let us see how much of this will be achieved, 361 days and counting…..!
