And so the end is near!

May 10, 2010

Just handed in the first full draft of my thesis for scrutiny. Approaching the end fast now!

Hopefully there will be less need for coffee now and I will look less like this

Christmas countdown

December 7, 2009

In my case this involves a load of studying as I have the two last exams of my Masters degree coming up soon. Hopefully they will go the right way!

Coming closer to the end

November 20, 2009

Tomorrow I shall write the first of three exams this semester and if all goes well it will be the last three exams ever in my university career. But I still wonder who came up with the “great” idea of exams on a Saturday morning!? Only 28 days until Christmas holidays kick in!

The first step back to studying

March 21, 2008

While Sweden has taken a few days off for the Easter holoday, I’ve been busy with work and of course appying to my masters prog. in September. However, it will take until July 15th before I have my final answer.  The application has been submited as follows:

1. UU-P2113 – Master in Strategic Marketing Management,  Uppsala universitet, Uppsala 2. UU-P2111 – Master in Management of International Business, Uppsala universitet, Uppsala

3. UU-P2112 – Master in Management in a Global Society, Uppsala universitet, Uppsala

All remaining now is to send my grades and other required documents to Strömsund where they will collect a nice layer of dust.

And now I have decided

January 11, 2008

…but the outcome is kept quiet about to most of you for another couple of months. However I’d like to thank those who did give me their inputs!

Had a very fun afternoon today with Anders, Felix and Emmi at Barnens Djungel  and I am not sure who enjoyed it the most!! :p

 Perhaps some flying this weekend!?

Standing at a crossroad

January 10, 2008

Today, when covering at “Baywatch”  I realized that there are two posible options for coming years. One is to work one more year and then apply for an MA/MSc. the other is to apply for one and start already in the autumn of 2008 (pending I am accepted).  It also made one of my favorite poems come to mind.

Road not taken by Robert Frost (1915)

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I–
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

What do you think, dear readers?

With the diploma in my hand

June 21, 2007

Last weekend was the time of my university graduation. A full day of fun and joy in the Principality of Monaco with my near and dear ones starting with the ceremony via the cocktail to the gala dinner in the evening. There is really not THAT much one can say other than that it will be a memory for life. I think these pictures speak for themselves:

Tomorrow I head to Luxembourg for the weekend. Hope to be able to give a report when I get back
